INSTALLATION CONTINUED
CAUTION
Install new O-ring and new sealing washer as noted during removal.
Ensure that new sealing washer is fully seated on fuel injector.
If installing old injector, verify that old sealing washer was removed and there are not two
sealing washers present.
Ensure that new O-ring is positioned in groove of fuel injector and that it has not rolled or
become twisted.
Ensure that new O-ring and new sealing washer are clean, and have not been damaged.
Do not lubricate O-ring.
Failure to follow this caution may cause engine damage.
NOTE
Evacuate as much fuel as possible from cylinder prior to installing fuel injector.
2. Install new O-ring (Figure 7, Item 3) and new sealing washer (Figure 7, Item 1) on fuel injector
(Figure 7, Item 2).
