1. Remove crankcase breather filter (Figure 1, Item 2) from crankcase breather filter housing (Figure 1, Item 1).

Note quantity and location of tiedown straps for installation purposes.
2. Remove tiedown straps (Figure 2, Item 2) from engine wiring harness (Figure 2, Item 1). Discard tiedown
straps. Position engine wiring harness aside.
