REMOVAL CONTINUED
5. Install hub (Figure 3, Item 7) and three bolts (Figure 3, Item 6) on engine.
6. Install crankshaft turning tool (Figure 3, Item 5) and two bolts (Figure 3, Item 4) on hub (Figure 3, Item 7).
7. Using a 1/2 drive ratchet and crankshaft turning tool (Figure 3, Item 5) turn engine clockwise until crankshaft
timing pin (Figure 3, Item 1) locks engine.
NOTE
If timing pin will not insert through camshaft timing gear into engine, engine is at Top Dead
Center (TDC) on exhaust stroke (360 degree off). Engine must be at TDC on compression
stroke.
8. Insert camshaft timing pin (Figure 3, Item 2) through hole in camshaft timing gear (Figure 3, Item 3) into
engine.
a. If camshaft timing pin (Figure 3, Item 2) inserts through hole in camshaft timing gear (Figure 3, Item 3) into
engine, proceed to step 9
b. If camshaft timing pin will not insert through hole in camshaft timing gear (Figure 3, Item 3) into engine,
unlock crankshaft timing pin (Figure 3, Item 1), turn engine 1/4 turn clockwise. Lock crankshaft timing pin
