FRONT WIPER ARM INSTALLATION

CAUTION
Push front wiper arm straight onto front wiper motor shafts. If front wiper arm is not
installed straight, when shaft turns, splines will be damaged and arm will not operate
correctly.
Do not operate wiper motor before front wiper arm is installed. If front wiper motor is
operated prior to front wiper arm installation, misalignment will occur, which may cause
damage to front wiper motor, front wiper arm, and front cab window.
NOTE
Install front wiper arm as marked during removal.
1. Install front wiper arm (Figure 4, Item 1) on two front wiper motor shafts (Figure 4, Item 4).
2. Tighten two clamps (Figure 4, Item 3) and four bolts (Figure 4, Item 2) on front wiper motor shafts (Figure 4,
Item 4). Torque bolts to 180 lb-in. (20 Nm).
3. Connect washer hose (Figure 4, Item 6) on connector (Figure 4, Item 5).
