FUEL TANK REMOVAL

1. Position cap (Figure 3, Item 1) aside and remove two locknuts (Figure 3, Items 4 and 6) and wires (Figure 3,
Items 5 and 7) from fuel tank sending unit (Figure 3, Item 8). Discard locknuts.
2. Loosen three clamps (Figure 3, Item 3) and disconnect hoses (Figure 3, Item 2) from fuel tank
(Figure 3, Item 9).

3. Remove left-hand rear wheel and tire assembly (WP 0217).
4. Place transmission and differential lift (Figure 4, Item 3) under fuel tank (Figure 4, Item 4).
5. Remove two bolts (Figure 4, Item 1) and washers (Figure 4, Item 2) from fuel tank (Figure 4, Item 4).
