NOTE
The procedure for pilot control unit removal and replacement is identical for left-hand and
right-hand pilot control unit. Right-hand pilot control unit is shown in this procedure.
1. Remove cap from hydraulic oil tank (TM 5-2420-231-10).
2. Remove four bolts (Figure 1, Item 2) and cover (Figure 1, Item 1) from control tower (Figure 1, Item 3).
