6. Attach lifting device (Figure 6, Item 9) and sling (Figure 6, Item 4) to support backhoe bucket cylinder
(Figure 6, Item 5).
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Backhoe bucket cylinder weighs 140 lb (65 kg).
7. Grease pins (Figure 6, Items 1 and 7).
8. With lifting device, install backhoe bucket cylinder (Figure 6, Item 5) and two pins (Figure 6, Items 1 and 7) on
machine.
9. Install two washers (Figure 6, Item 8) and retaining rings (Figure 6, Item 6) on backhoe bucket cylinder
(Figure 6, Item 5).
NOTE
Install washers in same quantity and location noted during removal.
10. Install washers (Figure 6, Item 3) and two retaining rings (Figure 6, Item 2) on backhoe bucket cylinder
(Figure 6, Item 5).
11. Remove sling (Figure 6, Item 4) and lifting device (Figure 6, Item 9) from backhoe bucket cylinder
(Figure 6, Item 5).
