REMOVAL CONTINUED
WARNING
Allow hydraulic system to cool before performing procedure. Hot hydraulic fluid can cause
severe burns. Wear eye, hand, and skin protection when working with heated parts.
Hydraulic oil is very slippery. Immediately wipe up any spills.
Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
Plug and cap all hoses and fittings to prevent contamination. Failure to follow this caution
may result in damage to the machine.
NOTE
Tag and mark lines to aid in installation.
2. Remove cap from hydraulic tank (TM 5-2420-231-10).
3. Remove tiedown strap (Figure 2, Item 5) from hose (Figure 2, Item 6), and position hose aside. Discard tie-
down strap.
4. Disconnect tube (Figure 2, Item 7) from fitting (Figure 2, Item 9).
5. Loosen tube (Figure 2, Item 7) from loader valve (Figure 2, Item 4). Position tube aside.
6. Disconnect tube (Figure 2, Item 1) from fitting (Figure 2, Item 10).
7. Disconnect tube (Figure 2, Item 2) from fitting (Figure 2, Item 9).
8. Disconnect tube (Figure 2, Item 3) from loader valve (Figure 2, Item 4).
9. Disconnect tube (Figure 2, Item 8) from loader valve (Figure 2, Item 4).
