WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury or death to
personnel.
CAUTION
Loader clam bucket must be supported on a level surface without weight of loader arms. If
loader clam bucket is supporting weight of loader arms or machine during removal. Failure
to follow this caution may result in damage to the machine.
NOTE
Loader clam bucket assembly weighs 300 lb (136 kg).
1. Turn engine on (TM 5-2420-231-10).
2. Remove safety support strut (TM 5-2420-231-10).
3. Lower loader (Figure 4, Item 1) onto clam shell bucket (Figure 4, Item 2).
