REMOVAL CONTINUED
22. Disconnect steel tube (Figure 8, Item 1) from backhoe control valve (Figure 8, Item 2).
23. Disconnect ten steel tubes (Figure 8, Item 3) from backhoe control valve (Figure 8, Item 2).
24. Disconnect two steel tubes (Figure 8, Item 11) from backhoe swing valve (Figure 8, Item 10).
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to
follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Backhoe control valve assembly weighs 125 lb (57 kg).
25. Support backhoe control valve (Figure 8, Item 2) with nylon strap and lifting device.
26. Remove three nuts (Figure 8, Item 6), six washers (Figure 8, Item 5), and three bolts (Figure 8, Item 4) from
backhoe control valve (Figure 8, Item 2). Set backhoe control valve aside.
27. Remove two nuts (Figure 8, Item 7), four washers (Figure 8, Item 8), and two bolts (Figure 8, Item 9) from
backhoe swing valve (Figure 8, Item 10). Set backhoe swing valve aside.
