I f y ouair and medicali s m a d e , f l u shmade, wash eyes(2) Clean remaining parts using clean cloths moistened with cleaning solventP-D-680; dry with clean cloths.INSPECTIONNOTEReplace all parts determined to be defective in following steps.(1)(2)(3)( 4)(5)(6)(7)Inspect hose (5) for chafing, cracks, and deterioration.Check tubes (4 and 19) for cracks, breaks,f i t t i n g .dents, and damaged threads onInspect filter head (23) for cracks, breaks, or damaged or deformedt h r e a d s.Check bracket (18) for cracks, breaks, or bent condition.Inspect switch (9) for loose or cracked terminal, corrosion, or damagedt h r e a d s .Inspect wiring harness terminal (7) wire for cracked or broken insulationor broken wire strands at connection to terminal. Repair cracked or bro-ken insulation by applying insulation tape to area. If broken wirestrands are seen, cut wire as close to terminal as possible. Strip 1/4inch insulation from end of wire taking care not to cut through wire thencrimp new terminal securely onto wire.Inspect remaining parts for cracks, breaks, distortion, or damaged ors t r i p p e d t h r e a d s.11-86
