Position six gaskets (5) on cylinder head studs (6) as shown below.

If not already connected, connect exhaust manifolds (3 and 4) together.
Position exhaust manifolds on cylinder head studs (6) .

Secure exhaust manifolds (3 and 4) using 12 lock washers (2) and nuts
(l). Tighten nuts evenly then torque nuts to 25 to 30 lb-ft.
Reinstall muffler and pipe (page 4-68) and engine left side panels (page
9-17).
