9-4. SEAT ASSEMBLY MAINTENANCE
a. Seat Assembly.
This task covers removal and installation of seat assembly.
TOOLS: No. 1 Common Organizational Maintenance Tool Kit
Socket wrench set, 3/8 inch drive
REMOVAL
(1) At bottom of operator’s seat, remove
four nuts (1), lock washers (2), and
washers (3).
(2)
Remove operator’s seat (4) from cab.
INSTALLATION
( 1 ) P l a c e o p e r a t o r ’ s s e a t ( 4 ) i n c a b a nd
position on upper seat support with
s t u d s i n s e a t i n s t a l l e d i n h o l e s i n
upper seat support.
( 2 ) S e c u r e o p e r a t o r ’ s s e a t ( 4 ) u s i n g f o ur
washers (3), lock washers (2), and nuts
