c. Transmission Turbine Driven Gears and Freewheel Unit (Cent).
DISASSEMBLY (SHEET 2 OF 2)
(9) Remove spring retainer plate (9) from free-
wheel cam (7).
(10) Using paint, put alinement marks on free-
wheel cam (7) and roller cage (8) to aid
reassembly.
(11) Remove three pins (10) and springs (11)
from roller cage (8).
(12) Remove 12 capscrews (12) from freewheel cam
(7).
(13) Put second turbine driven gear (16) in hydraulic press with collar in-
stalled as shown. Press second turbine driven gear (16) from bearing
(14).
(14) Put second turbine driven gear (16) in soft jawed vise. Using two pry
bars, lift bearing (15) up from gear just enough to install collar.
(15) Put collar and second turbine driven gear (16) in hydraulic press. Press
second turbine driven gear from bearing (15).
(16) If necessary for replacement,
remove pin (13) by grasping with slip joint
pliers and pulling from freewheel cam.
If pin is broken off inside cam,
use 1/8 inch drill bit and drill out.
