Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes and don't breathevapors. Do not use near open flame or excessive heat and don’t smokewhen using it. Failure to do so could cause serious injury. If you be-come dizzy while using cleaning solvent, get fresh air and medicalattentionwith largewith waterCompressedonly with(goggles/shield, gloves, etc).Failure to do so could cause seriousinjury to eyes and possible blindness.If you hurt your eyes or if aforeign object is blown into your eyes, seek medical attentionimmediately.immediately.If contact with skin or clothes is made, flushamounts of water. If contact with eyes is made, wash eyesand get medical aid immediately.air used for cleaning purposes will not exceed 30 psi. Useeffective chip guarding and personal protective equipment(1) Clean bearings (4, 14, and 15) by immersing in cleaning solvent P-D-680and slowly moving up and down. Remove bearings from cleaning solvent andstrike larger side of cone against a block of wood to dislodge solidifiedparticles of lubricant. Immerse again in cleaning solvent and repeatabove until bearings are clean. Dry using compressed air. Direct airstream across bearing to avoid spinning. Don’t spin bearings when drying;rotate bearings slowly by hand to facilitate drying. After drying bear-ings, lubricate using clean lubricating oil. Keep bearings in a cleanarea.(2)Clean all gasket material from front cover (19) and transmission housingusing clean cloth moistened with cleaning solvent P-D-680.(3) Clean remaining parts using cleaning solvent P-D-680. Dry usingcompressed air.4-140
