REASSEMBLY (SHEET 2 OF 2)

Install two capscrews (12) through freewheel cam (7). Install freewheel
cam, roller cage (8), and spring retainer plate (9) on second turbine
driven gear (16). Use two capscrews to aline these parts.

Install remaining ten capscrews (12) and secure using 12 new lock nuts
(6).

Put freewheel unit in soft jawed
vise. Tighten every other lock
nut (6) to 41 to 49 lb-ft until
all lock nuts are tight. Remove
freewheel unit from vise.
Put oil-soluble grease on 15
rollers (5). Install 15 rollers
in roller cage (8) pockets.
Install bearing spacer (2) on
shaft of second turbine driven
gear (16).
Put first turbine driven gear
(1) on second turbine driven
gear (16) shaft with hub of
first turbine driven gear (1)
against rollers (5) in free-
wheel unit.
(14) Push down and rotate first turbine driven gear (1) in counterclockwise
direction. As first turbine driven gear is rotated, its hub will engage
rollers (5) and first turbine driven gear will slide into position.
(15) Put freewheel unit in hydraulic
press. Position bearing (4) on
shaft of second turbine driven
gear (16). Using 1-1/2 inches
inside diameter sleeve, press
bearing (4) onto second turbine
driven gear shaft.
(16) Install bearing spacer (3) on
bearing (4). Position second
bearing (4) on second turbine
driven gear (16) shaft with
numbers on it facing up. Using
1-1/2 inches inside diameter
sleeve, press bearing onto gear
shaft until bearing is in con-
tact with bearing spacer.
