Inspect interior of hydraulic tank for accumulation of foreign matter. If
foreign matter is present, use putty knife to remove it.
Repeat steps d through f above until hydraulic reservoir (8) interior is com-
pletely clean.
Using scratch wire brush, remove all traces of rust or corrosion from exterior
and interior of hydraulic reservoir (8).

NOTE
welding hydraulic reservoir (8) until after pressure test
a. Check hydraulic reservoir (8) for cracks, breaks, or other damage. If reser-
voir cannot be economically repaired by welding, replace reservoir.
b. Inspect hydraulic reservoir (8) for dents. If possible, remove dents using
hammer and wood backing block. Replace reservoir if dents cannot be removed.
