Position gasket (5) and cover (4)
and secure using six capscrews (3).
Tighten capscrews securely.
Install O-ring (2) and fill cap (1);
tighten cap securely.
Install parts shown on hydraulic
reservoir ports.
Using two blocks of wood and two
C-clamps on each hose, close off
end of each hose attached to bot-
tom and top ports of hydraulic
reservoir.
WARNING
Dont apply more than 15 psi
air pressure to hydraulic
reservoir.
To do SO could
cause reservoir to explode
causing death or serious
injury to personnel.
Connect a source of compressed
air to 1/4 NPT air hose fitting
installed in top port of hy-
draulic reservoir.
Immerse hydraulic reservoir in water tank. Apply 15 psi air pressure to hy-
draulic reservoir. Watch water tank for air bubbles indicating leakage of res-
ervoir. Using suitable marker, mark locations on
bubbles are seen.
Relieve air pressure. Remove hydraulic reservoir
