REMOVAL (SHEET 2 OF 2)
(b) Loosen tachometer drive cable nut using pliers and pull cable end
tachometer drive.
(c) Install tachometer drive removal
tool on tachometer drive threads.
(d) Turn tachometer drive removal
tool nut clockwise using open end
wrench until tachometer drive is
pulled from cylinder block bore.
(e) Separate tachometer drive removal
tool from tachometer drive
threads by turning counterclock-
wise.

Dry cleaning solvent P-D-680 used to clean parts is toxic and flammable.
Wear protective goggles and gloves and use only in a well ventilated
area. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes and donut breathe
