INSPECTION (SHEET 2 OF 2)
(3) Inspect manifold studs (7 and 8) for cracks and damaged or stripped
threads. Chase damaged threads using 3/8-16 die. If threads cannot be
cleaned up, remove stud using pliers.
Install new stud in cylinder head
until it protrudes to dimension shown.
(4) Inspect all other parts for
cracks, distortion, or thread
damage. Replace all defective
parts.
INSTALLATION (SHEET 1 OF 3)
(1) Install and tighten two plugs (5).
