If you be-come dizzy while using cleaning solvent, get fresh air and medicalattention immediately. If contact with skin or clothes is made, flushwith large amounts of water. If contact with eyes is made, wash eyeswith water and get medical aid immediately.Compressed air used for cleaning purposes will not exceed 30 psi. Useonly with effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment(goggles/shield, gloves, etc). Failure to do so could cause seriousinjury to eyes and possible blindness. If you hurt your eyes or if aforeign object is blown into your eyes, seek medical attentionimmediately.(a) Clean oil suction tube (1) using cleaning solvent P-D-680. Agitate tubescreen in cleaning solvent and remove blockage and residue using com-pressed air.(b) Clean exterior of oil pump (5) using clean cloths moistened with clean-ing solvent P-D-680. Dry using clean cloths.(c) Clean all other parts using cleaning solvent P-D-680. Dry using cleancloths.INSPECTIONNOTEReplace an item if inspection indicates need for replacement.(a) Inspect oil suction tube (1) for cracks, kinks, distortion, orthreads. Inspect screen for tears, blockage, and deformation.(b) Inspect oil pump (5) for cracks, nicked or missing gear teeth,damagedor otherdamage. Forward defective oil pump to general support maintenance forrepair.(c) Inspect all other parts for cracks, distortion, or thread damage.3-93
