Assemble plate and frame assembly: (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) Using vise or hydraulic press and sleeve, press new bushing (22) into frame as- sembly (21) until flush with top of bore. Install oil wick (26) in frame assembly (21). Saturate wick with clean engine oil. Install new plug (25) and O-ring (24). Dent plug (25) using ball-peen hammer to secure. Install three screws (19) to secure plate assembly (20) (21). If removed, install four new springs (18) LEGEND in plate assembly (20). Install four brushes (17) and screws (16) on plate assembly (20). Push brushes into to frame assembly 1. Nuts (2) 2. Lock washers (2) 3. Electrical lead 4. Washer 5. Bushing 6. Nut 7. Washer 8. Connector 9. Capscrews (4) 10. Solenoid 11. Plugs (2) 12. Gaskets (2) 13. Screws (2) 14. Capscrews (4) 15. Lock washers (4) 16. Screws (4) 17. Brushes (4) 18. Springs (4) 19. Screws (3) 20. Plate assembly raised position and hold using springs 21. Frame assembly (18). 22. Bushing 23. Thrust washer t. Slide thrust washer (23) onto armature (27) 24. O-ring shaft. 25. Plug 26. Oil wick 27.
