REMOVAL (SHEET 1 OF 3)
NOTE
If necessary, refer to TM 5-3805-262-20 for following steps and for wir-
ing diagram.
When removing clamps to free blackout lights wiring harness for removal,
reinstall clamp and associated hardware in same location as removed to
aid installation of harness.
(1) Beneath right instrument panel, disconnect front wiring harness block-
type connector from blackout lights wiring harness. Do this by grasping
with fingers and firmly pulling apart.
(2) Cut, remove, and discard two tie straps securing blackout lights wiring
harness to front wiring harness.
(3) At rear of loader, at left and right sides of radiator guard, disconnect
blackout lights wiring harness pink-white wires and yellow wires termi-
nals from both blackout stop and tail lights.
NOTE
When removing clamps to free blackout lights wiring harness for removal,
reinstall clamp and associated hardware in same location as removed to

installation of harness.
At left and right sides of radiator guard, remove hardware securing
clamps holding rear wiring harness and blackout lights wiring harness.
Remove blackout lights wiring harness from clamps. Reinstall clamps to
aid installation.
Cut, remove, and discard tie straps securing blackout lights wiring har-
ness to rear wiring harness.
At left side of radiator, at mounting bracket, remove hardware securing
clamp. Remove blackout lights wiring harness from clamp.
Pull blackout lights wiring harness from radiator guard. At timing gear
cover, beneath alternator, remove hardware securing clamp holding rear
wiring harness and blackout lights wiring harness. Remove blackout lights
wiring harness from clamp.
Cut, remove, and discard tie straps securing blackout lights wiring har-
ness to rear wiring harness.
At left rear of engine block , remove hardware securing clamp holding rear
wiring harness and blackout lights wiring harness. Remove blackout lights
wiring harness from clamp.
