DISASSEMBLY (SHEET 2 OF 2) (10) (11) (12) (13) Put wheel disk (26) hub (31) in hydraulic press, brake side down. Press cone and rollers (22) and oil seal (23) from wheel hub (31) using 4-1/4 inches diameter sleeve. Discard oil seal. Remove 16 capscrews (24), washers (25), and four dowels (27). Remove brake disk (26) from wheel hub (31). NOTE Perform following steps only if inspection indicates replacement is necessary. (14) Remove two bearing cups (28 and 29) from wheel hub (31) using 3/4 inch point drive pin punch and hammer. Discard bearing cups (28 and 29). Discard mating cone and rollers (21 or 22) if bearing cup (28 or 29) requires replacement. (15) If necessary, remove 12 studs (30) from wheel hub (31). Do this by driving studs from front to rear of wheel hub (31) using hammer. NOTE Repeat steps (1) through (15) above to disassemble remaining rear axle planetary assembly. 3-400
