NOTE
PRELIMINARY PROCEDURE: Hoses, lines, and fittings disconnected from
steering gear, steering wheel removed, turn signal switch removed, and
transmission control lever and mounting bracket removed (refer to TM
5-3805-262-20).
REMOVAL (SHEET 1 OF 2)

If not already removed, remove two
screws then slide cover from steering
column. Position cover out of the way.

Remove two capscrews (1), washers (2),
nuts (3), and lock washers (4).

Pull support bearing (5) from steering
column.
