DISASSEMBLY (SHEET 3 OF 5)
(6) Using paint, put match marks on drive
end plate (16) and housing (48) to
aid reassembly.

Loosen and remove eight capscrews
(15).
(8) Remove drive end plate (16) from
housing (48). If necessary, hit drive
end plate to loosen it from housing
using rubber mallet.
(9) Pull armature (21) and associated parts (17 thru 20) as an assembly from
housing (48).
(10) Loosen and remove screw (22) and nut (23) and remove cover band (24) from
housing (48).
(11) Using paint, put match marks on
commutator end cover (37) and housing
(48) to aid reassembly.
(12) Remove four capscrews (25).
(13) Remove two screws (26) and lock
washers (27) securing brush set (28)
to field coil (47).
(14) Remove commutator end cover (37) and
associated parts (28 thru 36) as an
assembly.
