TM 5-3805-262-34 a. If hydraulic oil is cold, start and operate engine at full throttle. b. Place bucket control lever in CROWD position and hold for two minutes then place control lever in NEUT. position for one minute. c. d. e. f. Repeat step (b) above until manifold (1) is warm to touch. Decrease engine speed to idle, lower bucket to ground, and turn off engine. Remove quick disconnect coupling (2) cover. Connect a zero to 3000 psi pres- sure gage to quick disconnect coupling. Start engine and operate at full throttle. Before performing following step, warn personnel to stay away from sides of loader between front and rear chassis. Failure to do so will cause death or serious injury to those personnel due to chassis pivoting and crushing them. If personnel are injured, obtain medical assistance immediately. h. Turn steering wheel completely to right until loader stops turning and continue to hold for a full right turn. i. Pressure gage shall indicate 2400 to 2600 psi. If pressure indication is not 2400 to 2600 psi, replace flow control valve (page 3-566). j. Turn off engine. k. Disconnect pressure gage from quick disconnect coupling. 1. Reinstall quick disconnect coupling cover. 3-571(3-572 blank)
