a. Control Valve Assembly (Cont).
CLEANING AND INSPECTION
Dry cleaning solvent P-D-680 used to clean parts is toxic and flammable.
Wear protective goggles and gloves and use only in a
area. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes and
vapors. Do not use near open flame or excessive heat
when using it. Failure to do so could cause serious

(1) Clean all parts using clean cloths moistened with cleaning solvent
P-D-680; dry using clean cloths.

Inspect tubes (10, 12, 13, 18, 21, 22, 23, and 25) for cracks, dents, or
other damage. Check fittings at both ends of tubes for damaged threads.
Replace if any of these conditions are observed.

Inspect remaining parts for cracks, breaks, distortion, deformation, or
damaged threads. Replace if any of these conditions are seen.

If necessary, install new O-ring (36) on connector (35); install and
tighten connector (35) in top port of control valve assembly (37).
If necessary, install new O-ring (34) on seven connectors (33); install
and tighten connectors (33) in ports in side of control valve assembly
(37) .
With an assistant, place control valve assembly on front chassis.
