Install washer (19) in detent housing (20).
Put spacer (16) in a soft jawed vise.
Put a small amount of retaining compound on spacer (16) threads.
Install coil (17) and washer (18) on spacer (16).
Install screw (15) in spacer (16) and tighten screw to 10 to 12 lb-ft.
Install coil and spacer assembly (15 thru 18) in detent housing (20).
Push down screw (15) and spacer (16) and turn screw (15) clockwise to
install spacer on stud (26) threads. Tighten spacer to 10 to 12 lb-ft.
Install spacer (14) and spacer (13). Be sure coil (17) wires are between
spacer (14) and detent housing (20).
Install new O-ring (12) on cap (11).
Start coil (17) wires through cap (11). Install cap (11) in detent hous-
ing (20) and aline setscrew hole in cap with a hole in detent housing.
Install retaining ring (10).
Install setscrew (9).
Solder coil (17) wires to connector (8) contacts.
position connector (8) on cap (11). Install and tighten four screws (6)
to secure connector.
Remove rod or prybar from spool eyes.
Install new O-ring (5) and
washer (4) on spool (30).
Install new O-ring (3) in seal
assembly (1). Push retainer
(2) into seal assembly (1) to
secure O-ring.
Install and tighten seal as-
sembly (1) using seal assembly
tool as shown.
Install control valve assembly
(page 3-654).
