(c) Raise valve lifter (13) by pulling wire until

valve lifter head contacts cylinder block.
Bend wire over cylinder head to retain
valve lifter (13) in raised position.
Repeat steps (b) through (d)

above to raise remaining 11
valve lifters.
Remove thrust plunger (1) and
spring (2).
