Remove ring compressor.
Repeat steps (3) through (6) above to install remaining piston assem-
blies.
Clean connecting rod (2) journals.
Place a piece of plastigage crosswise on connecting rod (2) cap insert
(lo).
Position connecting rod (2) cap; be sure number on cap matches number on
connecting rod.
Lubricate two splined head screws (1) threads and under heads using OE/
HDO 30 engine oil.
Install two splined head screws (1) and tighten to 95 to 105 lb-ft.
Remove two splined head screws (1) and connecting rod (2) cap.
