THROTTLE CONTROLS

Throttle Pedal. Push down on pedal to increase

engine speed. Release pedal to decrease engine speed.

Engine Speed (Throttle) Control.
a.
Engine speed control (i.e., throttle control) will activate in all forward and reverse gears. It will remain active dur-
ing automatic upshifts and downshifts.
b.
Gear changes can be initiated by changing the set speed for the engine speed (throttle) control or by increasing load
on machine.
c.
The following switches are part of the engine speed (throttle) control system.
(1)
Throttle Lock ON/OFF Switch.
(a) Press top of switch to ON to activate
engine speed (throttle) control.
(b) Press bottom of switch to OFF to
disengage engine speed (throttle)
control. This will erase preset speed
set by operator.
(2)
Throttle Lock SET/RESUME Switch.
(a) When desired speed is reached,
press top of switch to set speed.
(b) To increase speed, press bottom of
switch and hold until desired speed
is reached.
(c) To decrease speed, press top of
switch and hold until desired speed
is reached.
(d) To disengage engine speed (throttle)

control temporarily, press service
brake pedals. Press bottom of SET/
RESUME switch to resume preset
speed.
