Electrical System.
(1)
Alert indicator will light when there is an electrical system malfunction: system voltage either too high or
too low for normal machine operation.
(2)
If an electrical malfunction is indicated, increase engine speed to high idle to generate more alternator out-
put. See if alert indicator goes out within one minute. Also, reduce electrical loads by modifying the oper-
ating cycle.
(3)
If problem does not correct itself, investigate cause.
i.
Transmission Oil Filter. Alert indicator will light at start-up and when transmission oil filter has been bypassed.
When machine reaches normal operating temperature, indicator should turn off. If not, transmission oil filter needs
replacement.
j.
Right Turnlamp. Flashes to indicate right turnlamps are on.
k.
Hydraulic Oil Filter. Alert indicator will light at start-up and when hydraulic oil filter has been bypassed. When
machine reaches normal operating temperature, indicator should turn off. If not, hydraulic oil filter needs replace-
ment.
l.
Air Filter Restriction. Alert indicator will light when engine air cleaner filter elements are restricted. Check read-
ing on air cleaner service indicator (inside engine enclosure on right side of machine) and clean air cleaner filter
elements.
m.
Ride Control. Indicates ride control is active.
n.
Worklights. Indicates front and/or rear worklights are on.
