Overview. The following table summarizes the four warning levels of the 924G Machine Monitor System (MMS).

Level 1. Level 1 is identified by illumination of respective alert indicator lamp(s) ONLY. This level indicates that

machine needs attention soon. No damage to machine has occurred.
Level 2. Level 2 is indicated by illumination of respective alert indicator lamp(s) and by action lamp flashing. This level
3.
indicates that operation of machine should be changed or severe damage to machine may occur.
Level 2 - Special. Level 2 - Special is indicated by illumination of respective alert indicator lamp(s), by action alarm

coming on, and by action lamp flashing red or yellow. This level indicates that operation of machine should be changed
as soon as possible or severe damage to machine may occur.

Level 3. Level 3 indicates that machine must be shut down immediately. Action alarm will be on and pulsating, and
action lamp will be flashing red or yellow.

Alert Indicators.
N OT E
As part of an automatic test of the MMS, all alert indicators come on when engine start switch key is turned
to ON position. Alert indicator lamps remain on for 3 to 5 seconds and action alarm sounds. If any alert
indicator does not come on or if action alarm does not sound, investigate cause of problem.
a.
Left Turnlamp. Flashes to indicate left turnlamps are on.
b.
Secondary Steering. Alert indicator will light when electrical secondary steering motor is on. After steering
loader to a safe stop, DO NOT operate machine until malfunction has been corrected.
c.
Primary Steering Failure. Alert indicator will light and action alarm will sound (only when engine is running)
when primary steering flow is not functioning. DO NOT operate machine until malfunction has been corrected.
d.
Low Brake Pressure. Alert indicator will light when brake oil pressure is low. Stop machine immediately, shut
down engine, and investigate cause.
e.
Low Engine Oil Pressure. Alert indicator will light when engine oil pressure is low. Stop machine immediately,
shut down engine, and investigate cause.
f.
Action Lamp. If lamp comes on, machine needs to be serviced soon. If lamp comes on and action alarm sounds,
stop machine immediately.
g.
Parking Brake. Alert indicator will light when parking brake is engaged. Indicator should come on during start-up
when parking brake is engaged. Indicator should go off when parking brake is disengaged.
