Spreading a Load with MP Bucket. Dump load by partially opening clamshell while moving machine slowly forward
or in reverse, as needed.

Picking up Debris with MP Bucket.
a.
Move auxiliary hydraulic control lever forward to open clamshell as much as needed when approaching debris.
b.
Move lever rearward to close clamshell.
c.
Move lever all the way rearward to detent, if positive hydraulic pressure on jaws is required to secure load.
6.
Operating Forklift Pallet Forks.
a.
Press top of fork/bucket control switch, to activate tilt kickout for forks.
b.
Place kickout ON/OFF switch in OFF position.
c.
Move slowly into position, with forks fully lowered and centered square with pallet.
d.
Move forks as far apart as possible, to provide improved load support. Space forks evenly between pallet stringers.
e.
Drive forward slowly to fully engage forks into pallet.
f.
Raise and tilt backward as needed to secure load.
g.
Travel to unload area with load at carry height.
h.
If hauling a bulky load that impairs visibility, travel in reverse. Use a ground guide.
i.
At unload area, lower forks slowly and tilt forward, until pallet is resting on the ground.
j.
Back carefully away from pallet. Be alert for personnel or obstructions in the area.
PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHER OPERATION

WARN I N G
Discharging large quantities of dry chemical fire extinguisher inside an enclosed cab may result in tempo-
rary breathing difficulty during and immediately after the discharge event. Discharge fire extinguisher
from outside the cab. Ventilate cab thoroughly prior to reentry. Failure to follow this warning may cause
injury to personnel.
1.
Remove fire extinguisher from mounting bracket inside cab.
2.
Hold fire extinguisher upright. Stand back 8 ft (2.4 m) from fire, point nozzle toward base of fire, break seal, and pull
safety pin.
3.
Squeeze lever, discharging chemical at base of fire. Use a side-to-side motion to spread chemical.
4.
After using fire extinguisher, notify Unit Maintenance to have fire extinguisher recharged.
