STORING BUCKET WITH SAFETY STANDS - CONTINUED
Removing Safety Stands from Bucket
1.
Remove hair pin (4) from clevis pin (2).
2.
Drive machine forward until pins are in line with bucket hook.
3.
Engage parking brake.
4.
Connect quick-disconnect hoses.
5.
Raise bucket until safety stands (1) are off ground.
WARN I N G
Stand clear of frame articulation area when machine is operating. There is no clearance for personnel in
this area when machine turns. Crushing could occur, resulting in injury or death to personnel.
6.
Remove clevis pin (2) and safety stands (1).

7.
Tilt bucket back to "return to carry" position, then engage locking pins.
8.
Secure stands IAW unit SOP.
