Installing Safety Stands for Bucket - Continued
WARN I N G
Stand clear of frame articulation area when machine is operating. There is no clearance for personnel in
this area when machine turns. Crushing could occur, resulting in injury or death to personnel.
5.
Install clevis pin (2) in top hole (3) of safety stand (1).
6.
Lower bucket until safety stands (1) are on level ground.
7.
Disengage bucket completely.
WARN I N G
DO NOT disconnect or remove any hydraulic system line or fitting unless engine is shut down and hydrau-
lic system pressure has been relieved. Tighten all connections before applying pressure. Escaping hydraulic
fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin, causing injury or death to personnel.
8.
Disconnect quick-disconnect hoses.
9.
Back machine away.
10.
Install hair pin (4) to secure clevis pin (2).
