Install air hose between air turbo charge and air cleaner (WP 0033 00).
CRANKCASE VENT REMOVAL

1.
Remove valve cover (3). Refer to Valve Cover
Removal in this work package.
2.
Remove bolt (9) from crankcase vent (10).
3.
Remove crankcase vent (10) from valve cover (3).
Remove and discard O-ring (11).
4.
Remove disposal hose (2) from machine.

CRANKCASE VENT INSTALLATION

1.
Install disposal hose (2) on machine.
2.
Apply a thin coat of clean oil to new O-ring (11) and position crankcase vent (10) and new O-ring on valve cover (3).
3.
Install bolt (9) in crankcase vent (10) and tighten to 19.9 + 2.2 lb-in. (2.25 + 0.25 Nm).
4.
Install valve cover (3). Refer to Valve Cover Installation in this work package.
5.
Run engine until normal operating temperature is reached (TM 5-3805-290-10).
6.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-290-10).
7.
Check for engine oil leaks.
