DO NOT perform fuel system checks, inspections, or maintenance while smoking or near fire, flames, or
sparks. Fuel may ignite, causing injury or death to personnel or damage to equipment.
To prevent injury to personnel, wear protective eye covering and gloves.
CAU T I ON
DO NOT fill fuel filters with fuel before installation. Fuel will not be filtered and could be contaminated.
Contaminated fuel will cause accelerated wear to fuel system parts. Fuel system should be primed prior to
starting engine.
N OT E
Use a container to catch any fuel that may drain from hoses or system. Dispose of fuel IAW local policy and
ordinances. Ensure all spills are cleaned up.
This unit has two purposes. Element serves as water separator and fuel filter.
