THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR INSTALLATION

Mate sensor to accelerator pedal assembly. Key must match up with sensor slot. Check sensor housing for a
flush fit to pedal assembly mounting surface. This ensures slot on sensor has mated correctly with pedal
assembly key.
1.
Install throttle position sensor (3), two washers (11),
and nuts (10) on throttle pedal (6).
2.
Connect wiring harness (2) to throttle position sensor
(3).
3.
Install new tiedown strap (1).
4.
Run engine to verify correct operation of throttle (TM
5-3805-290-10).
5.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-290-10).
