INSTRUMENT CLUSTER AND TURNLAMP SWITCH REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

INSTRUMENT CLUSTER INSTALLATION
1.
Support instrument cluster (2) and position turnlamp switch (7) in rear of instrument cluster.
2.
Install three new lockwashers (11) and nuts (10) on turnlamp switch (7).
3.
Connect wiring harness (9) to rear of instrument cluster (2) and tighten screw (8).
4.
Position instrument cluster (2) on panel (3).
5.
Install seven screws (1) in instrument cluster (2).
6.
Install turnlamp switch handle (6), screw (5), and cover (4) on turnlamp switch (7).
7.
Verify correct operation of instrument cluster and turnlamps (TM 5-3805-290-10).
TURNLAMP SWITCH REMOVAL

1.
Disconnect turnlamp switch (7) from instrument cluster by performing steps 1 thru 4, 6, and 7 of Instrument Cluster
Removal in this work package.
N OT E
Tag all wires prior to removal to ensure correct installation.
2.
Disconnect wiring harness (9) from turnlamp switch (7).
TURNLAMP SWITCH INSTALLATION
1.
Connect wiring harness (9) to turnlamp switch (7).
2.
Connect turnlamp switch to instrument cluster by performing steps 1, 2, and 4 thru 6 of Instrument Cluster Installation
in this work package.

ACTION ALARM REMOVAL
1.
Remove instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument
Cluster Removal in this work package.
2.
Disconnect wire (12).
3.
Remove nut (13) and washer (14) from action alarm
(15).
4.
Remove action alarm (15) from duct (16).
