WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH REMOVAL - CONTINUED

Pull panel (3) outward.
6.
Disconnect front windshield wiper switch (6) at
connector (9).
7.
Disconnect rear windshield wiper switch (7) at
connector (10).
8.
Remove front windshield wiper switch (6) and rear
windshield wiper switch (7) from panel (3).
BACKLIGHT REMOVAL

Remove two sockets (13).
2.
Remove two bulbs (14) from sockets (13).
BACKLIGHT INSTALLATION

1.
Install two bulbs (14) in sockets (13).
2.
Install two sockets (13).
WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH INSTALLATION
1.
Install rear windshield wiper switch (7) and front windshield wiper switch (6) on panel (3).
2.
Connect rear windshield wiper switch (7) to connector (10).
3.
Connect front windshield wiper switch (6) to connector (9).
4.
Install two washers (5) and nuts (4) on front windshield wiper switch (6) and rear windshield wiper switch (7).
5.
Install panel (3) on machine.
6.
Install four screws (8) on panel (3).
7.
Install windshield wiper knobs (2) on front windshield wiper switch (6) and rear windshield wiper switch (7).
8.
Tighten two setscrews (1) on windshield wiper knobs (2).
9.
Verify correct windshield wiper operation (TM 5-3805-290-10).

SECONDARY STEERING SWITCH REMOVAL
1.
Gain access to secondary steering switch (11) by performing steps 4 and 5 of Windshield Wiper Switch Removal in this
work package.
2.
Disconnect wiring harness (12) from secondary steering switch (11).
3.
Remove secondary steering switch (11) from panel (3).
SECONDARY STEERING SWITCH INSTALLATION
1.
Install secondary steering switch (11) in panel (3).
2.
Connect wiring harness (12) to secondary steering switch (11).
3.
Install panel (3) by performing steps 5 and 6 of Windshield Wiper Switch Installation in this work package.
