N OT E
Battery box weighs 42 lb (19 kg).
1.
Position battery box (4) on machine and install six washers (15) and bolts (14) on battery box.
2.
Install cover (13), four washers (12), and bolts (11) on battery box (4).
3.
Install hinge (8), two washers (10), and bolts (9) on battery box (4).
4.
Position lid (5) on hinge (8) and install two washers (7) and bolts (6) on hinge.
5.
Install strap (3), pin (2), and new cotter pin (1) on battery box (4).
6.
Repeat procedure for opposite battery box.

7.
Install NATO slave receptacle in left battery box (WP 0080 00).
8.
Install battery cables in battery boxes (WP 0079 00).
9.
Install batteries in battery boxes (WP 0077 00).
