Two dowel pins position rear axle on machine.
13.
Lower rear axle (1) to floor jack. With assistance,
move rear axle out from under machine and place on
wood blocks.

REAR AXLE INSTALLATION
1.
With assistance and using floor jack, position rear axle (1) under machine.
2.
Attach lifting equipment to rear axle (1).
N OT E
Two dowel pins position rear axle to machine.
3.
Raise rear axle (1) and position rear axle on machine. Loosely install 12 washers (19) and bolts (18).
4.
Remove floor jack and alternately tighten 12 bolts (18) to 590 74 lb-ft (800 100 Nm).
CAU T I ON
Utilize two line wrenches to avoid damage to hoses and fittings.
N OT E
Apply a thin coat of clean oil to all O-rings before installation.
5.
At top of rear axle (1), install new O-ring (17) and T (13).
6.
Install new O-ring (16) and connect brake hose (15) to T (13).
7.
Install new O-ring (14) and connect brake hose (10) to T (13).
