Apply a thin coat of clean grease to two new O-rings in step 11 before installation.
11.
Install two new O-rings (5) and elbow (3) on axle
trunnion (4).
12.
Connect lubrication hose (2) to elbow (3).

13.
Install rear tires and rims (WP 0097 00).
14.
Install rear drive shaft (WP 0090 00).
15.
Fill rear axle (WP 0091 00).
16.
Run engine until normal operating temperature is reached (TM 5-3805-290-10).
17.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-290-10).
18.
Check for leaks around rear axle.
