Checking Pilot Pressure at Loader Valve
0007
1. Oil must be at operating temperature. If hydraulic oil is not at operating temperature:
a. Start engine at full throttle and hold implement joystick in rollback position for 30 seconds
(TM 5-3805-292-10).
b. Return implement joystick to neutral for 15 seconds.
c.
Repeat steps a and b until temperature of oil is at least 125F (52C).
3. Connect extension hose and 600 psi (41.3 bar) gauge to test location for circuit being tested.
a. Tilt back (Figure 33, Item 3). Disconnect hose (Figure 33, Item 10) from fitting (Figure 33, Item 8) and
connect to extension hose and gauge (Figure 33, Item 9).
b. Lower (Figure 33, Item 4). Disconnect hose (Figure 33, Item 10) from fitting (Figure 33, Item 8) and con-
nect to extension hose and gauge (Figure 33, Item 9).
c.
Dump (Figure 33, Item 2). Disconnect steel line (Figure 33, Item 5) from hose (Figure 33, Item 6) and con-
nect to extension hose and gauge (Figure 33, Item 7).
d. Raise (Figure 33, Item 1). Disconnect steel line (Figure 33, Item 5) from hose (Figure 33, Item 6) and con-
nect to extension hose and gauge (Figure 33, Item 7).
