WARN I N G
DO NOT smoke or permit any open flame in area of skid steer loader while you are
servicing the fuel system. Be sure hose nozzle is grounded against filler tube during
refueling to prevent static electricity.
DO NOT perform fuel systemmaintenance while near heat, flames or sparks. Fuel may
ignite, causing injury or death to personnel or damage to equipment.
Operating personnel must wear fuel-resistantgloves when handling fuels. If exposed to
fuel, promptly wash exposed skin and change fuel-soaked clothing.
Failure to follow these warnings ma result in injury to personnel.

2. Drain fuel filter element sediment bowl (Figure 2, Item 3) into a container and dispose of contents IAW local
environmental regulations.
3. Use fuel filter element drain valve to drain fuel out of fuel filter element for approximately 5 seconds.
4. Turn fuel filter element (Figure 2, Item 2) counterclockwise and remove from fuel filter element head (Figure 2,
Item 1).
5. Remove sediment bowl (Figure 2, Item 3) from fuel filter element (Figure 2, Item 2).
