Support condenser with wire so it does not hang from hoses. Damage to hoses or fins can
result in refrigerant leaks. Wear suitable eye protection. Failure to follow this warning may
result in injury to personnel or damage to equipment.
REMOVAL

1. Lift engine compartment hood (Figure 1, Item 1) and remove bolt (Figure 1, Item 5), washer (Figure 1, Item 6),
spacer (Figure 1, Item 7), nut (Figure 1, Item 8), two clamps (Figure 1, Item 4), and nut (Figure 1, Item 9) from
engine compartment hood.
2. Remove A/C condenser (Figure 1, Item 3) (WP 0091).
3. Remove exhaust pipe (Figure 1, Item 2) (WP 0132).
4. Remove clip (Figure 1, Item 11) from support lift (Figure 1, Item 12).
5. Remove support lift (Figure 1, Item 12) from engine compartment hood (Figure 1, Item 1).
6. Remove two retaining rings (Figure 1, Item 15) from rod (Figure 1, Item 10).

Component weighs approximately 50 lbs.
7. With assistance supporting hood, slide rod (Figure 1, Item 10), two spacer sleeves (Figure 1, Item 13), and
washers (Figure 1, Item 14) from engine compartment hood (Figure 1, Item 1) through holes in frame.
