PUMP CUTOFF PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT

1. Remove left lower cab access panels (WP 0347).
2. Loosen locknut (Figure 27, Item 2) and adjust bolt (Figure 27, Item 1) clockwise on pressure relief valve
(Figure 27, Item 3) to increase pump cutoff pressure or counterclockwise to decrease pump cutoff pressure.
3. Perform steps 6 through 17 of Pump Cutoff Pressure Test (in this work package) to check adjustment of pump
cutoff pressure and repeat adjustment as necessary to obtain correct reading.

DO NOT disconnect or remove any hydraulic system line or fitting unless engine is shut
down and hydraulic system pressure has been relieved. Tighten all connections before
applying pressure. Escaping hydraulic fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin,
causing injury to personnel.
At operating temperature, hydraulic oil is hot. Allow hydraulic oil to cool before removing
any hydraulic fitting.
To prevent injury to personnel, wear protective eye covering and gloves.
Sudden movement of machine can cause injury to personnel on or near the machine.
Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury to personnel.
