PUMP STANDBY PRESSURE TEST CONTINUED

Do not perform this procedure unless directed here from troubleshooting or a repair
procedure. Failure to follow this caution may result in an improper diagnosis.
1. Apply sealant on threads of 580 psi (4,000 kPa) gauge (Figure 28, Item 1) and a 6V-3966 valved nipple
(Figure 28, Item 3) from pressure gauge kit.
2. Install adapter (Figure 28, Item 4) on 580 psi (4,000 kPa) gauge (Figure 28, Item 1).
3. Install 6V-3966 valved nipple (Figure 28, Item 3) on adapter (Figure 28, Item 4).
4. Connect hose 177-7861 (Figure 28, Item 2), from pressure gauge kit, to 6V-3966 valved nipple
(Figure 28, Item 3).
